HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

~8 years together~

Not bad for "Just Friends."

We love you Brian and Vicki!

At the Sterlings

Football outside, then popcorn and playing Guesstures inside, then on to playing hide and seek and then reading books. What could be more fun? We spent last Friday nite with the Sterling boys. We had great fun! I think Eric, Alex and Brin go to bed better than any other kids I know. They could teach my girls a thing or two!

Yung Love

This is Hope.
This is Dawson.
This is their first kiss.
Let me hold your hand. . .
Ooh, this is so fun!
These two just adored each other and were so sweet to watch together!

Our Annual Convention

It was hard to pick which pictures to post, but here they are - in no particular order. Of course there are no pics of the most important part of the week - the meetings where our hearts were fed. But this gives you an idea of what the grounds look like and the playground which is where the kids spent every spare second!
The kids used waxed paper to make the slide even faster!

Hope climbing the slide pole.

Micah and Beau racing on the "horses".

Micah takes the lead!

Alexis and Kaylee on the horses.

Isaiah Michael

I am very proud to announce the birth of my newest little nephew - Isaiah Michael. He was born August 31st around 4pm. He weighed 9lbs on the button and is 20 inches long! We can't wait to meet our newest little Idaho relative! Isn't he cute?

Four Wheelers For Us

When we bought our latest truck, we also got 2 four wheelers. Below are some pics of the four wheelers as we rode them the first time. Beau wore his bike helmet until we could buy real helmets. Suddenly he doesn't want to walk or ride his bike anywhere, it's "Can I ride the four wheeler?"
Beau had no trouble at all, figuring out how to shift gears and then spin cookies in the middle of the gravel road just like his daddy. I like the above picture of them riding off down the road together, as the sun is going down. I think that is what little boys' memories are made of: "Riding in the country with my dad!" Kaylee in her new helmet.

Beau's first day of Kindergarten!

Getting ready to go into school.
Beau & Mr Lightle - the principle!
The entrance to Kindergarten! Beau's teacher Mrs Leiting showing him where to put his stuff. Laney, our neighbor from 3 doors down, is in his class!
Beau's table of giggly girls. He informed me when I asked him if he made any friends today, "All the girls are my friends. We will have to see about the boys!"

After we dropped him off, we were invited to a BooHoo breakfast in the library where parents of first time schoolers could get to know eachother and talk to the principle.

This is Mrs Sanders the librarian, aka: Media Specialist! Whatever you call her, she is a wonderful lady that really involves the kids. The PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) moms who put the BooHoo breakfast on.

And finally, the cooks at school. They got quite a kick out of having their picture taken!

Beau had a wonderful first day and even though he couldn't tell me about it cause "Mom, I don't remember what we did all day", I bet tomorrow he will have lots to tell me about. He fell asleep at 5:00pm tonight, and it looks like he is in bed for the night! Such big work being in kindergarten!
